Benedict's Law Training Allergy & EpiPen Workshop for Schools

As schools and colleges prepare for the requirements of Benedict’s Law, ensuring staff can recognise and respond to allergy and asthma emergencies has never been more important. Our Benedict’s Law Training – Allergy (Including Asthma) and EpiPen Workshop provides practical awareness training to help educational settings develop a safer environment for pupils at risk of severe allergic reactions and asthma attacks, whilst supporting compliance with allergy management procedures and emergency response plans.

Our Allergy (Including Asthma) and EpiPen Workshop has been developed specifically for schools, colleges, nurseries and childcare providers. The workshop provides staff with the knowledge and practical understanding needed to recognise allergic reactions, identify anaphylaxis, respond to asthma attacks, and safely administer Adrenaline Auto-Injectors (AAIs) such as EpiPen®, Jext® and Neffy®.

The workshop also supports educational settings in meeting their responsibilities under emerging allergy legislation, including the principles behind Benedict’s Law, which aims to improve allergy safety and emergency preparedness within schools.

Prerequisite

There are no formal entry requirements for this workshop. No previous medical knowledge is required.

Course Duration

Each workshop session is approximately 1.5 hours.

A full day can accommodate up to four workshop sessions between 09:00 and 17:00, allowing up to 80 members of staff to receive training.

Course Certification

Learners who successfully complete the workshop will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
