Course Overview
Highfield Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace is practical training built around the decisions people may need to make at work. Learners develop the confidence to understand the subject clearly and apply practical, proportionate actions in the workplace.
We keep the session clear, interactive and relevant. The tutor explains the reasons behind each action, checks understanding and uses realistic examples so the learning is easier to remember and apply.

Course Information
The practical details you may need before arranging or booking this course.
Maximum learners
Maximum 16 learners per tutor. A smaller group may be recommended where the session includes detailed practical assessment or where the venue limits safe practice space.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites unless the current qualification specification states otherwise. Learners must have sufficient English to take part in learning and assessment, provide valid identification where required, and be physically able to complete any practical assessment.
Course duration
Official qualification duration: 21 guided learning hours (GLH) and 30 hours total qualification time (TQT).
GST normally delivers the programme as six live half-day Microsoft Teams sessions, equivalent to three full training days.
Assessment
Learners are assessed through a multiple-choice examination.
Certification
Successful learners receive the Highfield Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification issued through Highfield Qualifications.
Requalification
