Course Overview
IOSH Managing Safely Refresher is for managers and supervisors who have already completed the full Managing Safely course and want to refresh the knowledge they use in practice.
The course revisits the key principles through a plan-do-check-act safety and health management system, with leadership at the centre. Delegates reflect on what has changed since their original course, revisit risk management and performance, and consider how well their current arrangements work in the real world.
It is deliberately concise: one day to challenge assumptions, refresh important knowledge and leave with practical ideas that can be applied back at work.

This course is suitable for employees, supervisors and managers who need practical, role-relevant training in this subject.
For workplace first aid, the employer should select training through a suitable first-aid needs assessment. For regulated qualifications, learners must also meet the awarding organisation's entry and assessment requirements.

Maximum learners
Good Skills Training normally limits IOSH Managing Safely Refresher to a maximum of 20 learners per tutor, subject to current IOSH requirements.
Prerequisites
Delegates must have previously completed the full IOSH Managing Safely course.

Course duration
IOSH course duration: one day.
Good Skills Training face-to-face delivery: one full training day.
Live Microsoft Teams option: two live tutor-led half-day sessions, where available under current IOSH delivery requirements.
