Who should attend?
Learners complete practical assessment throughout the course. There is also a 40-question multiple-choice written assessment sat under exam conditions. The written assessment is 60 minutes with a pass mark of 30/40. Learners must also demonstrate safe, prompt and effective practical first-aid skills. If you need additional learning or assessment support, please tell us before the course so suitable arrangements can be considered in advance.
Learners who successfully complete the course and assessment receive a First Aid at Work certificate.

Absolutely enjoyed the course. Barry was wonderful, explained everything very understandable and answered questions with very good knowledge and patience. He also included us and our experiences very well. The course was well set out and with good timekeeping. A really good 3 day course. I liked the amount of times we went back to CPR to really drum it in and the other role plays (although something I usually hate) did help to remember things and being hands on is the easiest way to learn.
The course went at a good pace, friendly trainers and a very enjoyable course. I will absolutely be returning to Good Skills Training for future training and I would recommend to others.
Well presented by Larry and Barry, good conversation with the group and due to that everyone was able to take in information and learn as a group. Good relationship with the learners immediately and good knowledge of First Aid.
