Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for employees, supervisors and managers who need practical, role-relevant training in this subject.
For workplace first aid, the employer should select training through a suitable first-aid needs assessment. For regulated qualifications, learners must also meet the awarding organisation's entry and assessment requirements.
Assessment
Managing Safely includes two assessment elements: an IOSH knowledge assessment and a workplace risk assessment project. Both elements must be completed successfully to receive the IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
We will confirm the current IOSH assessment format, timings and pass requirements with learners as part of the joining information and course delivery. We do not publish historic question counts or pass marks unless they are confirmed in the current IOSH provider materials.
If you need additional learning or assessment support, please tell us before the course so we have time to discuss appropriate support and, where applicable, reasonable adjustments.
Certification
Delegates who successfully complete the IOSH assessment requirements receive an IOSH Managing Safely certificate. Genuine IOSH certificates can be verified through IOSH.
