Who should attend?
The course is assessed through a combination of practical assessment and a written multiple-choice examination.
Practical assessment takes place throughout the course and includes key skills such as infant and child casualty assessment, CPR, recovery position and choking management.
Learners receive demonstrations, opportunities to practise and constructive feedback before completing their assessed activities.
Learners who successfully complete the course and assessment receive a Paediatric First Aid certificate.

I thought Mark was great! I’m a trainer but he just clarified a lot of things for me and introduced me to some things that I can look up and use in my trainings - he was thorough and happy to go through all options with the group. At no point did I feel like I ‘should have known’ stuff and was just overall great in capturing a large groups attention! There are a lot of things that I will utilise in my own trainings from this training! The only things is: please can it be closer to where I stay, lol! The drive there and back is a killer!

I liked the information I gained to today because it will help me along my career path. I also enjoyed working in teams because it is important to be able to work together with your work colleagues in the environment we work in, I also understand first aid is never a funny moment but being able to have a laugh at times helped because it broke barriers and helped me/ us understand more.
Simon was very knowledgeable but had a good sense of humour which made it easy to ask questions throughout the day.Â
