The QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support (Adults and Children) is for those that are interested in, or are required to attend annual training in basic life support. While some candidates may be interested in undertaking this qualification for personal development, those working in a GP or dentist surgery may attend to meet industry requirements. This qualification includes the use of a AED.

Designed for anyone who requires training in basic life support for their job, such as nurses, dental staff & other health staff
Anyone who has an interest in basic life support (BLS)

Course Prerequisites
This qualification is available to those over 16 years.
It is recommended that learners have a minimum of Level 1 literacy and numeracy or equivalent
Learners are required to demonstrate first aid procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore learners must be physically capable of doing this.
