If you are a First Aid Instructor whose certification is due to expire, our First Aid & AED Instructor Requalification Course is the perfect way to renew your skills and knowledge. This two-day blended learning course will renew you First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Certificates (Both through Highfield Qualifications).
The course will cover all aspects of First Aid and AED instruction, including paediatric first aid. Before you attend the 2-face-to-face days you will need to complete the appropriate eLearning for both courses.
On successfully completing the course we will also pay for 1-year registration with the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

Syllabus
First Aid & AED Instructor Requalification Course covers the syllabus of the First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Courses. Throughout the two face-to-face days learners will share best practice, different ideas for delivering first aid content as well as discuss any changes to first aid practices or protocols. Learners will be expected to deliver micro teach sessions and will be given copies of any monitoring forms as evidence for their portfolios.
Prerequisite
Learners must be an existing First Aid Instructor and hold the following:

- relevant training and assessing qualifications
- valid first aid at work qualification, or be registered medical professional as laid down by your preferred awarding body, or the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB)
