The Highfield Level 2 Award in Health and Safety within the Workplace helps employees understand the key principles needed to work safely and contribute to a positive health and safety culture.
The course covers employer and employee responsibilities, common workplace hazards, risk controls and the importance of following safe systems of work. It is suitable across sectors and provides a recognised step beyond basic awareness training.

Requalification
As with all health and safety training it is recommended that staff undergo regular refresher training and, or CPD. It is best practice that this is every 3-years.
Prerequisites
This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 14+. It is also advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in English and maths, or equivalent
