A practical and age-appropriate first aid session for primary school pupils, helping children understand how to get help, stay safe and respond to common emergencies.
Our First Aid for Primary School Pupils Course introduces children to simple first aid skills through clear explanations, demonstrations and age-appropriate activities.
Pupils learn how to recognise an emergency, call for help, keep themselves safe and provide basic assistance while waiting for an adult or the emergency services. The session is designed to build confidence without making the subject frightening or overly complicated.
Content can be adjusted for different age groups and school requirements. We keep the training practical, enjoyable and easy to understand so pupils remain involved and remember the key messages.
Suitable for primary school pupils and junior-age youth groups. The content and practical activities can be adapted to the age, ability and needs of each group.

Competency is not assessed on this course.
Learners who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance. This course is certificated through our ISO 9001 certification for the delivery of training and consultancy services, including course certification. Find out more here.
There is no renewal date on this course, like all first aid it is recommended that people undergo regular refresher training.
There are no prerequisites for this course but any students who need additional support must be identified to the tutor, prior to the start of the course.
