Common questions
Useful answers to common questions people ask before booking or arranging this course.
A First Aid at Work certificate is normally valid for three years.
Before it expires, you should complete a First Aid at Work Requalification course to renew your qualification.
Our advice is to book your requalification well before the expiry date rather than leaving it until the last minute. Courses fill up, staff availability changes and three years has an annoying habit of arriving quicker than expected.
The HSE also strongly recommends that first aiders undertake annual refresher training during the three-year certification period to help maintain their skills.
Customer feedback
Feedback from people who have experienced this training with Good Skills Training.
Tutor was excellent she definitely made each and everyone fully aware and fully engaged. We all took part quite seriously and we all learned the importance of first aid . Great teacher highly recommended. (C Corbett) thank you.
The course was well presented by the tutor. the information was pitched at the correct level for the participants taking part as we had all completed First aid training before so it was delivered as a refresh and reminder which worked well…
Ash pitched the course to the right level for the learners attending, he demonstrated a good subject knowledge and shared personal experiences where appropriate.
