First aid training gives young people the confidence to help when it really counts. Good Skills Training are passionate that everyone should know a little first aid, and this starts with training children at an early stage to develop the foundations. We are passionate about making first aid fun and interactive. We have two off the shelf sessions, either a half day or full day course.

Half-Day Session:

- Communication and casualty care
- Making a clear and efficient call to the emergency services
- Primary survey
- Recovery position
- Head injuries
- Minor bleeding
- Severe bleeding
- Shock
Full Day Session:
- Kit aid kits
- Communication and casualty care
- Making a clear and efficient call to the emergency services
- Primary survey

- CPR awareness
- Head injury
- Minor bleeding
- Severe bleeding

- Asthma
- Allergies
- Choking
Prerequisite
There are no prerequisites for this course but any students who need additional support must be identified to the tutor, prior to the start of the course.
Course Duration
Half-day session = 09:00 – 12:00 or 12:00 – 15:00
Full-day session = 09:00 – 15:00
Other course times can be offered, but this may affect the content that can be delivered, if you require different course timings, please talk with one of our sales team about how we can help.
Course Certification
There is no awarding Body for this course. On successfully completing the course pupils will receive a certificate of completion
