First aid training gives young people the confidence to help when it really counts. Good Skills Training are passionate that everyone should know a little first aid, and this starts with training children at an early stage to further develop the foundations. We are passionate about making first aid fun and interactive. We have two off the shelf sessions, either a half day or full day course.

Half-Day Session:
- Communication and casualty care
- Calling for emergency help
- Primary survey
- Adult and child resuscitation (CPR)
- How to use a defibrillator
- Shock
- Minor bleeding
- Severe bleeding
Full Day Session:
- Communication and casualty care
- Calling for emergency help
- Primary survey
- Recovery position
- Chest pain
- Adult and child resuscitation (CPR)
- How to use a defibrillator
- Choking
- Minor bleeding
- Severe bleeding
- Shock
- Bone, muscle, and joint injuries
Prerequisite
There are no prerequisites for this course but any students who need additional support must be identified to the tutor, prior to the start of the course.
Course Duration
Half-day session = 09:00 – 12:00 or 12:00 – 15:00
Full-day session = 09:00 – 15:00
Other course times can be offered, but this may affect the content that can be delivered, if you require different course timings, please talk with one of our sales team about how we can help.
