Whether you’re stepping into a leadership role for the first time or brushing up on old habits, this one-day course offers a fast-track introduction to the key skills every leader needs. It’s interactive, practical, and packed with tools you can take straight back to work — no corporate waffle, no endless theory, just solid, confidence-building content.
You’ll take part in individual and group activities, reflect on your own leadership approach, and leave better prepared to guide your team (without breaking into a sweat every time you need to delegate).
The Trainer
Your trainer brings over 40 years of leadership and management experience, including senior roles in both Banking and Education. He’s a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and holds leadership qualifications to Masters level — so rest assured, you’re in very capable (and human!) hands.

Prerequisite
No formal prerequisites — just bring a willingness to learn, participate, and reflect. A few leadership challenges from your day job won’t hurt either.

- Delivered in 1 day: 09:00 – 17:00

Assessment Method
No scary final test! Throughout the course learners are encouraged to assess their own performance as part of the skills required in leadership when evaluating their own performance. The trainer will monitor performance and give feedback during the course.
Re-Qualification
No requalification is required, but ongoing CPD is strongly recommended to keep your skills fresh and your leadership sharp.
