When you work with children or young people, safeguarding isn’t optional — it’s essential. This one-day course provides the knowledge and confidence you need to recognise and respond appropriately to cases of alleged or suspected abuse. Whether you’re new to the sector or need a formal qualification for your role, the QNUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People offers a clear, structured approach to one of the most important responsibilities in any care or education setting.
Throughout the day, learners will explore legal duties, professional responsibilities, types of abuse, and what to do if a child or young person discloses sensitive information. This course balances practical understanding with empathy and clarity — because doing the right thing starts with knowing what to look for.
