Evacuation chairs help to evacuate immobile or fragile people in an emergency down escape stairs. It is important that staff know how to correctly handle the Evac Chair, this is where the Evac-Chair Train the Train Course comes in. The course is designed to give you the skills and confidence to deliver Evac Chair Courses.
The Evac-Chair Train the Trainer Course is a one day course. The morning takes learners through the Evac-Chair Course, whilst in the afternoon the course will look at training techniques and allow participants to practice using the Evac-Chair and deliver Micro-Teach Sessions.

Prerequisite
- Participants must be physically able to use the Evac-Chair.
- For in-house courses the Evac-Chair will need to be available during the course as well as a suitable set of stairs.

Good Skills Training normally deliver this course 09:00 – 17:00.

There is no awarding body for this course, but it is certificated by Good Skills Training
