Mental Health 1

Every year 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem of some kind, with 1 in 6 of us experiencing common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression every week in England.

Talking about your mental health and how you are feeling can be very difficult and scary at times. The Time to Talk Day on 2nd February is a day when you are encouraged to take a little time out of your day and talk about mental health, check in with a friend or colleague, or even ask the person serving you your coffee if they are okay …. it is a first step.

There are many things that can be done, from having a coffee with a colleague, texting a friend sharing information on social media or organising an event in your local community, it is all about making space in your day for a conversation about mental health. Find out more and download resources on the time to talk day web site: Time To Talk Day – Time To Talk Day.
